Choices for the engraving locations
Any of the straight pieces, on any of the trays can be engraved. Here are some examples.
We do send photos of the engraving mocked up before we carve it. If you are not sure what it will look like just send us a message we would be happy to show you.
What to expect after you order:
Once we have received your order we begin building it. We send you a progress photo when we have the tray built and another photo after we have the stain or finish on the tray.
If you have chosen to have your tray engraved we send an approval on the font you have choose, and an additional photo after we carve it.
We do ask for your approval on, (engraving if it applies to your order) the stained/finish photo to make sure you are happy with the color. Please make sure you check your messages.
Backing:
We add a shelf like liner to the back. We seal the sides with silicone to help protect the wood. If you do not want the backing you need to request not to have it.
Bottom Feet:
We add secure bottom feet to our standard tray. The feet will sit on the inside of your tub. If you choose tray with the legs on it we do not put feet on the tray. Sometimes the feet may need to be adjusted when you get the tray. If you need to do so you an unscrew the feet and move it to the desired location.
Care for your Tray:
We recommend to use a natural beeswax to condition your tray, once a month. We use Howards-feed-n-wax. It can be found at your local hardware store or online. Please wipe down your tray after use to make sure no water is left standing on the tray.
